Direct interaction with the mentors

This is one of the defining traits of Fondazione Rui’s educational program: we deeply care about the education and growth of every single one of you.

In the Hall of Residence, you will live with the direction team and with fellow students, building lifelong friendships.

Through the tutoring program you will be able to better engage in your university experience; through coaching you will have the opportunity of getting involved in a personal program of growth and skills development.

The direction team will always be available for personal exchanges.

Students Orientation and University Tutoring

A senior student is available to freshman students and shares their own university experiences; we believe this is what tutoring is.

Some of the challenges first-year students face are: changing study methods, developing unique relationships with professors and learning to rely on themselves to manage effective studying. With the advice from their tutors, students can successfully overcome these challenges.

More than just helping with assignments or reviewing academic material, a tutor’s job is to help students find effective study methods in a university setting, which is usually completely different than the high-school one.

Coaching

The coach supports each person in her personal growth, helping her manage change independently: a companion on the journey who enables each student to fully realize herself and take an active role in shaping her own life project.

Through coaching, you can follow a pathway for assessing and developing your skills, which Fondazione Rui – together with the Work Psychology Department of Università Cattolica – has integrated into the residence’s educational program.

The skills questionnaire administered each year is the starting point of the coaching process. Through follow-up feedback sessions, it will help you plan a targeted and effective skills development path.

Direction Team

Viscontea is led by professionals in the educational field. Their training is in continuous development; each year the members of the direction conduct refresher training and methodological enrichment.

The personal relationship that develops between direction and students is one of the many strengths of life at Viscontea; it is a relationship built on listening and openness, to calmly face the challenges and embrace increasingly ambitious goals.
