Viscontea is a women’s Hall of Residence located in the centre of Milan, in a strategic position with respect to the city’s university campuses. A point of reference within Milan’s academic community, it welcomes — in addition to its sixty residents — numerous students who take part in its various educational activities.
College of Merit recognized by the Ministry of Universities and Research (MUR), it offers a welcoming, family-like environment, ideal for experiencing your university years with peace of mind, authentic friendships, and many opportunities for growth.
Through its personalised educational program, Viscontea helps university students deepen and complement their academic studies with the “soft skills” that are increasingly demanded by the job market.
Living at Viscontea means becoming part of a close-knit community that shares study and leisure moments, supported by an attentive direction team and a staff that ensures careful management and full board service. Each student follows a personalized educational program, including cultural activities, soft-skill development, meetings with professionals, and initiatives to strengthen her competencies.
Like all residences of RUI Foundation, Viscontea is inspired by the message of Saint Josemaría Escrivá, founder of Opus Dei. In addition to academic and community life, it offers a Christian environment where faith and culture engage in dialogue. Those who wish may freely receive spiritual formation.
Thanks to RUI Foundation’s national and international network, students can benefit from exchanges, experiences abroad, and lasting friendships. The hall of residence thus becomes an experience oriented toward the future: a place to grow, cultivate one’s talents, and build a solid foundation for adult life.
